We are excited to share that installation of the new RPS Switchgear 33kV switchgear has now begun at our Ruataniwha Substation site in Waipawa.
Following its safe delivery to site, this modern switchgear supplied by RPS Switchgear is now being fitted into the purpose-built switchroom as part of our major substation upgrade.
This project will increase network capacity, improve system reliability, and support local growth across more than 9,300 electricity connections in the region. With commissioning planned for early 2026, we are tracking well.
