Taupō East Zone Substation is now complete and energised! This is a great step forward for the region’s electricity network. This upgrade adds capacity and strengthens resilience, helping meet growing demand and supporting Taupō’s continued development.
Delivered in partnership with Unison Contracting and our project partners, the team completed complex work safely while keeping the live network running for homes and businesses across the area.
